Transport and Fleet officer

You have an interest in transport and vehicle technology and wish to join a vibrant working environment. As transport and fleet officer, you will be the right hand of the Manager ECS Technics and the Manager ECS Trucking. You will support the Managers with various administrative and operational tasks. You will work in two teams with around a hundred employees.

Your role & responsibilities

As Transport and Fleet officer, you will fulfil two roles: during periods, you will work for both the Trucking and Equipment departments.  You are a real multitasker with an eye for improvement and will take on the following tasks:

TRUCKING:

• Planning of simple trips
• Monitoring execution of planning tasks 
• Reporting IT-related problems
• Management waiting hours
• Responsible for inspection and maintenance of the ECS Trucking Fleet
• Support Manager in daily operation of the department

EQUIPMENT:

• Member of the equipment team with varied and challenging tasks
• Preparation of reports
• Preparation of annual work on the impressive ECS fleet
• Preparation of team meetings
• Support procurement policy: price comparison suppliers
• Support Manager in daily operation of the department

Your profile and qualities

• You have at least a bachelor's degree
• You have an affinity with transport and technology
• Hands-on mentality
• You speak and write fluently Dutch, English and have a notion of French
• You are communicatively strong
• You are a real team player
• You are strong in administration, planning, follow-up and organisation
• You take initiative, you are proactive and like a challenge
• You have strong computer skills and can quickly learn new systems and software
• You have strong numerical skills
• You learn quickly and gain insight into processes
